STUDENT SUPPORT VISITS
Information for Visiting Professionals
Orchard Park Primary School welcomes external professionals who support our students, including allied health professionals, Visiting Teachers, mentors and other approved supports.
To ensure student safety, minimise disruption to learning, and support clear communication across teams, all visits to the school follow the processes outlined below.
BOOKING A STUDENT SUPPORT VISIT
All student support visits must be booked via our online booking form.

All visits must be booked using the form - Visits are not arranged directly with classroom teachers.
A member of our administration team monitors the booking form daily and will send a calendar invitation from the OPPS email once a visit is confirmed.

The booking form has been set up to avoid scheduling visits during student specialist classes.
If you need to observe a student within a specialist setting (e.g. PE, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, STEM), please indicate this clearly in the comments section of the booking form when submitting your request.

This allows us to manage visits accurately while protecting students’ access to their specialist learning and keeping all bookings within the one system.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL VISITING PROFESSIONALS
The following requirements apply to all professionals visiting Orchard Park Primary School to support students. These expectations must be met in order to use school facilities and work with students onsite.
Session notes – Required process
All visiting professionals are required to complete session notes using the OPPS Google Form at the end of every visit. This is a requirement for all professionals using OPPS facilities.

On your first visit to Orchard Park Primary School, you must provide a copy of your Working With Children Check for our records if one is not already on file.
